Woman Threatens to Drive Car Int Niagara River During Domestic Altercation

Law enforcement received a call around 11:57pm on April 17th after reports of a domestic incident on 73rd and Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls.


The 911 caller said a male an female were screaming. A vehicle was parked in the middle of the street. Neighbors were complaining to police of the altercation. The female was screaming that she was going to drive her car into the river and the male was trying to stop her.


The female was still on scene when on scene when police arrived. It is unknown if the woman was taken for mental health treatment or if any arrests were made.


No further information is available at this time. These are merely allegations and should not be taken as fact.
