Burglary Suspect Caught in the Act, Was 'Down on the Porch' After Falling Out Window

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 800 block of 15th Street around 10am on July 11th after reports of a burglary in progress.

Upon arrival, police saw the suspect “down on the porch.” The complainant stated he observed the suspect inside the home that he owns attempting to come out of a broken front window. Officers spoke to a witness who stated they saw the suspect throw a black crate through the window to gain entry to the home. It appears that the suspect did not successfully make it out of the window, possibly injuring himself in the process.

The complainant further told police that this is an ongoing problem with the suspect and he wishes to pursue charges. Officers placed the suspect in custody and transported him to police headquarters for booking and processing.
