Daughter Believes Ex-girlfriend Shatters Living Room Window After Breakup

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2200 block of Willow Avenue around 1:50am on October 4th after reports of criminal mischief.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the female complainant who stated she and her daughter were inside the house when the daughter heard the sound of a window breaking. When the complainant and her daughter went to where the sound came from, they noticed their living room window as shattered. The daughter also said that she saw a black Kia drive off “in a hurry” right after the window broke.

Officers observed multiple glass fragments on the porch and there was a large portion of the window missing. Inside of the home, officers found a rock on the living room couch. The estimated cost to replace the window is around $400.

The daughter believes that her ex-girlfriend may be the culprit due to their recent breakup. No further information is available at this time.
