Niagara Falls Police responded to Home Depot in Niagara Falls around 12:45pm on October 23rd after reports of a shoplifting in progress.

Officers then observed the suspect pass all points of purchase and exit the store without rendering payment. The items consisted of cellphone chargers, a cellphone mount, dimmer switches, an electric smart outlet and earmuffs.

Prior to handcuffing him, officers did a pat down and located a plastic bag with suspected drugs. He was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. The drugs were seized for testing. No further information is available at this time.
