Female with Lifetime Ban from Walmart Fills Cart with $1,100 of Items and Walks Out

Niagara Falls Police responded to Walmart around 9pm on June 21st after reports that two female suspects (one with a lifetime ban) filled a cart with nearly $1,200 worth of merchandise and walked out.
Upon arrival, police spoke with loss prevention who had two females detained. The worker stated that female #1 put multiple items in a shopping cart and passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The total price of items taken by female #1 was $1,116.07.
Female #2 concealed three stuffed animals into a tote bag and passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The total value of the stuffed animals was $36.39.
Female #1 had previously signed a lifetime ban from all Walmart locations in October of 2023. Both females were transported to police headquarters for booking and processing.

When you don't prosecute or severely fine people for these crimes, they will just keep doing it over and over until the brick and mortar stores either go out of business or leave the area
