Human Remains Identified, Linked to 1995 Disappearance at Niagara Falls

Authorities announced on Thursday, December 6th that the remains of a man who vanished in Niagara Falls in 1995 has been identified. The remains, belonging to a 46-year-old man, were discovered in the Niagara River by the Niagara Regional Police Service in Canada shortly after his disappearance earlier that month.

At the time, Canadian officials were not informed of a missing persons case leading to a lack of connection between the remains and the disappearance. However, in 2023, the DoeNetwork reached out to law enforcement regarding a potential match. Following forensic analysis, the remains were confirmed to belong to the missing man.
