Niagara Falls Probationer Walks Down Street with Twisted Tea, Firearm After Home Visit

Niagara Falls Police arrived at a residence where Niagara County Probation was conducting a home visit on a probational on Friday, March 22nd. Upon arrival, the probation officer exited the probationer's residence and stated, "he has a gun in his waistband we need to stop him.” According to the report it appears the probationer then left the residence.

Officers entered their vehicle and drove in the male’s direction. Niagara Falls Police reached the probationer who was walking down the street with a can of Twisted Tea. The probationer crossed to the rear of the vehicle at which time a bulge was noticeable on the right side of his waistband. He was patted down and the firearm taken by police.
The probationer was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters.
