Police Investigating 13th Street Shooting that Left Man Injured

Niagara Falls detectives are looking into a shooting that left one man wounded Wednesday afternoon on 13th Street.
Authorities said gunfire erupted around 12:30pm on the 1100 block of 13th Street. Multiple 911 calls reported shots fired in the area.
When police arrived, they were directed to a specific address on the street where they located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. He suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from both the Criminal Investigation and Crime Scene units launched an inquiry at the scene. A K-9 was brought in to assist with the search, with additional support provided by K-9 teams from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Park Police.

There are no known suspects at this time.
