Robbery Suspects Jump Male for $317 Cash

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1700 block of Niagara Street around 5pm on June 20th after reports of two robbery suspects jumping a male victim for cash.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who stated he was at Andy’s Quick Stop cashing a check valued at $330, which after fees amounted to $317. He then walked out of the store at which time he was followed by two unknown males.

After walking a short distance away from the store, both males demanded he give them the money. When the complainant refused, they pushed him to the ground and punched him repeatedly in the body and face. The males then took the $317 out of his pocket and fled on foot.

The complainant was able to give a detailed description of both suspects. Officers were able to locate video surveillance footage from Andy’s Quick Shop which captured two males matching the description prior to the incident.
