Suspect Pulls Out Firearm and Says 'get a nigga' in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 3000 block of Royal Avenue around 8pm on May 16th after reports of a male with a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who stated that they were at the location to pick something, or someone, up (this information was redacted from the report). The female resident invited them inside and an argument ensued.

During the argument, a male came down the stairs and pulled out a dark-colored handgun, racking the slide. According to both victims, the male stated, “go get a nigga.”

After the male pulled out the firearm, both victims ran out of the residence and called police.

Officers made contact with the  female resident and asked if the male described by the victims was there. She stated, “no.”

A few moments later, the male came down the stairwell. He was immediately detained and escorted to a patrol vehicle.

Officers returned inside to speak with the woman about the incident. However, she began yelling at officers and was extremely uncooperative.

The victims stated to police that they were in fear for their life because they thought the male was actually going to shoot them.

The male was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. He was charged with Menacing 2nd. Additional charges may be added at a later date.

No further information is available at this time.
