Taxi Driver tries to Stab Uber Driver for Taking Fare to Buffalo Airport


Niagara Falls Police received a walk-in complaint around 2pm on October 17th of menacing. The complainant stated that he is an Uber driver and was dropping off a fare at the border when an unknown male cab driver threatened him for attempting to take a fare to the Buffalo Airport. The driver was from Blue United Taxi.



During the verbal argument, the unknown male picked up a screwdriver and threatened to hurt him. The complainant’s window was down and the male then reached into the vehicle and attempted to stab him with the screwdriver.


The complainant was fearful for his safety and rolled up the window. He then followed the cab driver and got the cab company’s information. The complainant wished to press charges against the driver.



The identity of the male cab driver remains unknown at this time. No further information is available at this time.
