Walgreens Employee Locks and Blocks Door to Prevent Suspects from Leaving

Niagara Falls Police responded to Walgreens on the 1200 block of Pine Avenue around 5pm on July 24th after reports of a shoplifter.

Upon arrival, police spoke with the complainant who is an employee at Walgreens. She explained that at approx. 4:27pm two unknown individuals entered the store and began placing items into their cart. The employee kept an eye on both individuals who were described as a black male and white female.

The employee then reported both individuals began walking towards the store exit without paying for their merchandise. The employee, acting quickly, locked the doors and stood in front of them – blocking the suspects from exiting the store.

The white female then left the cart behind and forced her way past the employee, injuring her. The suspects pushed the employee aside, unlocked the doors and fled.

Officers searched the area with negative results. There are no known suspects. No further information is available - Walgreens Employee Locks and Blocks Door to Prevent Suspects from Leaving.

Gee, you mean you're not allowed to walk into a store, fill up your cart and just leave without paying?? More people need to be sentenced to jail and the bleeding hearts need to shut up
