Woman Almost gets Away with Stealing Expensive Liquor

Niagara Falls Police responded to Supermarket Liquors around 10am on November 11th after reports of a shoplifter.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with an employee who stated he observed a female place two bottles of liquor in her purse and pass all points of purchase without rendering payment. The combined value of both bottles is $171.98.
Officers apprehended the woman and returned her to the store where she was positively identified. Both bottles were returned for resale.
The female was issued an appearance ticket and trespassed from the liquor store. No further information is available at this time.
