$4,000 Stereo System Stolen from 1998 Jeep Wrangler in Downtown Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 100 block of Buffalo Avenue around 10:30am on September 17th after reports of a larceny from a 1998 Jeep Wrangler.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the 73-year-old complainant who stated that he parked his vehicle in front of his apartment at 4pm on September 16th. Today, he came outside a few minutes before calling law enforcement and found the front passenger window smashed and the stereo system missing.

The complainant stated that the stereo system was a Sony and valued at approx. $4,000. Officers observed the front passenger window smashed and the stereo system missing. "Wires were hanging everywhere," said the responding officer.

There are no suspects. No further information is available at this time.
