Emergency Room Patient's Wallet Stolen

Niagara Falls Police received a walk-in complaint at 1925 Main Street around 1pm on September 5th of a larceny.

The complainant told police that she was at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s ER and forgot her handbag in the waiting room when she was escorted to a room for treatment. When she realized that she did not have her purse she returned to the waiting area and discovered that her wallet was missing from the handbag.

The wallet is valued at $10 and contained $7 in cash, a NYS ID, and 3 social security cards. The complainant stated she made contact with NFMMC employees but was told the cameras did not cover that specific area.

There are no suspects at this time. No further information is available at this time.
