A man has been arrested for the death of a Former Buff State Graduate, Shot to Death and her Body Disposed of Alongside Garbage. The murder and arrest took place in Manhattan. The suspect, identified as 55-year-old Chad Irish, was taken into custody on Monday after NYPD officers pulled him from a crowd of angry neighbors.

The victim, Yazmeen Williams, was a graduate of Buffalo State University, according to officials. Her body was discovered wrapped inside a sleeping bag amidst garbage, just a block away from the Straus Houses on East 27th Street in Kips Bay on Friday night. Police have confirmed that Williams, 31, was shot to death.

Authorities obtained surveillance video that showed a man in a wheelchair using a dolly to transport Williams' remains. This disturbing footage further fueled the anger and frustration of the community. On Monday, several dozen people stormed the wheelchair-bound man before he was apprehended by the police at the Straus Houses.

Neighbors were the first to spot the man leaving his home and immediately called the police. They then took it upon themselves to restrain him until the officers arrived. Video footage of the incident captured the intense emotions of the crowd as EMT crews carried the suspect away on a stretcher.

Chad Irish has been charged with concealment of a human corpse on Tuesday. The discovery of a gun during his arrest has raised further questions about his connection to Williams. The NYPD has yet to reveal any details regarding their relationship.

The mother of the victim, Nicole Williams, expressed her grief and anger towards the suspect. She described him as "scum" and emphasized that her daughter did not deserve such a tragic fate. Nicole Williams also shared that Yazmeen had graduated from Buffalo State University in 2016 with a degree in criminal justice.

The Buffalo State University community has been deeply saddened by the loss of Yazmeen Williams. Interim President Bonita Durand extended heartfelt condolences to her family and friends, expressing hope for swift justice to bring peace to all who knew Yazzy.
