Unknown Suspect Assaults 'Everyone who walks on my block' in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1800 block of Cleveland Avenue around 7pm on August 29th after reports of harassment involving a possible assault.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the female complainant who stated that she was walking home from a store on Niagara Street. While the complainant was on Cleveland Avenue an unknown male suspect came out of nowhere and struck her on the right side of her head.

Officers did not observe any physical injury to the female complainant and she did refuse medical treatment. She described the male suspect as a light-skinned black male wearing black shorts and a black tank top. As the suspect hit her, she heard him yell, “I’m hitting everyone that walks on my block.”

Officers canvassed the area with negative results. There are no known suspects. No further information is available at this time.
